How it started
Established in 2003 as a centre of excellence for NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), the African NDT Centre (ANDTc) has become a trusted resource for various industries. From 2024, ANDTc is proud to be employee owned and operated, further solidifying its commitment to the field.

Strategically Located for Optimal Service
ANDTc has relocated its premises to a more centralised location within the Gauteng province, to improve accessibility to its patrons. The new premises located in Constantia Kloof, is just off the N1 highway and within a stone’s throw from several guest houses / accommodations.

Abdur (Mo) Mahomed
Director
After spending the last 2 decades in NDT and a passion for passing on Advanced Ultrasonics, the aim of the game is continuous improvement. Making sure that our training schools and consultancy are at the forefront, on an international scale. Mr. Mahomed holds two postgraduate qualifications in the science and business management arenas and utilizes his expertise to expand the ANDTc footprint. He has been recognized for his efforts internationally, receiving several awards, including recognition from the International Committee for NDT in 2024.
Ismail Mahomed
General Manager
Ismail is the General Manager as well as Chief Examiner at ANDTc. He has been involved in the NDT industry for the past 24 years and holds Seven Level 3’s. He is one of our advanced method specialists with expertise in TOFD, PAUT and Tube Inspections. He has been involved in the Nuclear, General and Aviation Industries, predominantly in the Power Generation & Oil & Gas sectors.
