South African Radiographic Testing (RT) is a powerful NDT method that utilises X-rays, a form of high-energy electromagnetic radiation, to reveal hidden flaws within various materials. This technique excels at detecting subsurface defects in components with thinner to medium thickness. Important Note: Due to the use of radiation, safety is paramount in RT. This course covers both the theoretical principles and safe practices involved in radiographic testing.
